SALES & TECHNICAL TRAINING (for reps, dealers and Camfil employees):

1. Dry Collection Sales and Technical Training – Farr Gold Series, QPP, Camtain (SEE PREREQUISITE BELOW) - October 4-5 2017

2. Wet Collection Sales and Technical Training – Handte Oil Expert, Handte EM Profi, Handte Vortex (SEE PREREQUISITE BELOW) - November 1-2, 2017

NFPA STANDARDS TRAINING (for anyone needing to understand safety and compliance issues with combustible dust, including NFPA standards compliance)

May 9-10, 2017 (class ends by 3:00 p.m. on 5/10/17)

NFPA Standards trainees receive a certificate of completion for 14 Professional Development Hours (PDH).

INDUSTRIAL VENTILATION TRAINING*

July 19-20, 2017

*Course Requirement: Pre-purchase of the Industrial Ventilation Manual of Recommended Practice for Design, 29th edition. $119.96 for ACGIH members and $149.95 for non-members. Students must bring this guide to the class.

Training Registration Procedure:  Travel information is required to complete your registration. Registration at "Request Training Now" link above. Complete all fields (required), then "Submit." You will receive an automated email indicating "Training Request Confirmed." If not received, you are not registered; please complete all fields and resubmit.

Case Study Prerequisite to Attending Sales and Technical Training:  PREREQUISITE TO ACCEPTANCE INTO SALES AND TECHNICAL TRAINING CLASS: Every registrant, without exception, must complete one case study presentation PowerPoint on a known application and submit to apctraining@camfil.com one week prior to class start date. The template which you will use as a guide is automatically emailed to you upon registration, and also may be obtained by contacting us.

Only one case study presentation is required for the week. YOU WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED INTO THE CLASSROOM IF PRESENTATION IS NOT SUBMITTED ONE WEEK PRIOR TO CLASS START DATE.

Cost/Expenses:  Camfil APC will provide at no charge to attendee:
• Training
• Meals
• Two nights' hotel accommodations

Attendee is responsible for all other travel expenses, including flights, rental car, and any additional lodging needed after training has ended.

No-shows: Please be aware if you do not cancel your room prior to 4pm on date of arrival, any no-show fees will be your responsibility.

Dress Code and PPE:  Dress is casual. Jeans and khakis are the norm. Eye protection will be furnished. Safety shoes are not required.

Lodging and Transportation

Planning Your Travel:  Each trainee is responsible for his/her own flights and rental car. Plan to arrive in Jonesboro the night before class begins. For weeknight arrivals, you are invited to dinner with your training group in the Comfort Suites conference room at 6:30 p.m. For Sunday arrivals, dinner is on your own.

Travel time: Your hotel is about 1.25 hours (67 miles) from the Memphis International Airport.

Booking Your Departure Flight:  Plan to book a departure flight that is no sooner than 2.5 hours after class ends. Maintenance Training and NFPA Training end by 3:00 p.m. on the final day of training. A 5:30 p.m. or later departure flight will allow you adequate travel and check-in time. Sales and Technical Training ends by 5:00 p.m. on the final day of training. A 7:30 p.m. or later departure flight is adequate.

TRANSPORTATION FROM AIRPORT::  AIRPORT SHUTTLE POLICY CHANGE: Effective 6-1-17, each trainee is responsible for his/her own transportation to and from the airport.

If attending a training session PRIOR TO June 1, 2017, Camfil APC will still provide shuttle services to and from the airport. After June 1, 2017 shuttle service will be discontinued.

Meals:  Comfort Suites provides continental breakfast with cooked-to-order omelets. Camfil APC will provide snacks and lunches during training and also host you at dinners.

In-Town Transportation:  Camfil APC is about a 10 minute drive from your hotel. Please communicate with the hotel front desk to request morning and evening shuttles to Camfil. Evening dinner shuttles will be provided.
